About Us
Established in 2007, the Queensland University of Technology Economics and Finance Society (QUTEFS) is one of
the largest student societies at QUT and the leading association for students studying finance and economics. We
support the professional and academic development of our members by providing structured opportunities to
engage with industry and build the capabilities needed for early-career roles.
Our vision for 2026 is to strengthen the connection between students and industry through focused, practical
engagement. We aim to deliver events and initiatives that help students understand career pathways, develop
professional skills and interact directly with employers. For partners, QUTEFS offers a reliable channel to connect
with motivated emerging talent and contribute to the development of future graduates.
In 2026, QUTEFS remains committed to delivering high-quality engagement that supports both student growth and
